About the role#
K2 Integrity is hiring a Data Technology intern to support the Financial Crimes Risk Management practice for the summer of 2026. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in New York.
What you'll do#
- Collect, clean, and organize datasets for machine learning projects.
- Maintain and update data repositories for AI model development.
- Retrieve and prepare data for training and testing ML models.
- Convert raw data into structured formats for analysis and automation.
- Perform data validation and quality checks.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with data mapping and workflow automation.
- Contribute to predictive modeling or feature engineering projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
- A GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of SQL, including schemas, indexes, and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with Python or C# is preferred.
- Experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3 is a plus.
- Applied knowledge of basic statistical methods.
