About the role#
This is a 10.5-week summer internship based in Denver, Colorado. You will work with the Commercial Banking team to understand how different business lines collaborate to provide financial solutions to clients. The role focuses on credit and lending, offering direct exposure to senior bankers and Commercial Analysts. You will participate in a Capstone Project that combines credit analysis, business analytics, and client-facing deliverables.
What you'll do#
- Analyze commercial loan requests by reviewing financial statement spreads and calculating key financial ratios.
- Work with clients to collect financial statements needed for performance monitoring.
- Maintain credit system data and perform system maintenance to ensure accurate portfolio assignments.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to track pipeline activities.
- Complete a Capstone Project involving credit, business analytics, and client-facing pitches.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years toward a four-year undergraduate degree.
- Anticipated graduation date in or before May 2028.
- A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.3.
- Coursework in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Data Science.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong quantitative and critical thinking abilities.

- Location: Denver, Colorado.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 26, 2027 to August 6, 2027).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: $27 per hour plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus.
- Employment status: Full-time.
