About the role#
The Key Investment Services Internship is a 10.5-week program designed to provide exposure to the wealth management industry. You will gain experience in investment guidance and financial planning while working alongside a Private Client Advisor. This is a paid, full-time position that offers coaching and professional growth opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Partner with a Private Client Advisor to gain hands-on experience in the wealth management field.
- Participate in client discovery and financial planning activities, including data entry and analysis.
- Observe client meetings and assist with administrative tasks.
- Manage a Salesforce book and help plan client events.
- Collaborate with other interns on a Capstone Group Project focused on industry topics.
- Digitize client files and verify client contact information.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a four-year or graduate-level degree with an expected graduation date by May 2029.
- Relevant coursework in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or data science.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork through work experience or extracurricular activities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Participation in or completion of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) program is preferred.

- Location: 2520 West 26th Street, Erie, Pennsylvania.
- Term: May 26, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
- Work Modality: This is an on-site position.
- Compensation: $23 per hour plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus.
