    About the role#

    Kimley-Horn is hiring an engineering student for our Broomfield, Colorado office. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship. You will work alongside our team to support civil engineering projects and gain hands-on experience in the field.

    What you'll do#

    • Use technical software to analyze data and produce project deliverables.
    • Contribute to pre-construction design, planning, and permitting tasks.
    • Assist project managers in solving complex technical problems.
    • Collaborate with team members across different disciplines.
    • Learn federal, state, and local regulations along with internal project standards.
    • Gain experience with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, or GIS.

    What you'll need#

    • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree from an ABET accredited program.
    • Eligible majors include Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering.
    • You have basic familiarity with technical engineering software.
    • You can contribute to design and analysis tasks.
    • You have an interest in learning relevant engineering regulations.

    Location & details#

    • This role is based in Broomfield, Colorado.
    • This is an on-site position.
    • The pay range for this role is $27 to $31 per hour.
