About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring an Engineering Intern for our Las Vegas, Nevada office. This is a full-time, on-site position with a rolling start date. We offer paid internships to students currently pursuing an engineering degree.
What you'll do#
You will work on pre-construction civil engineering tasks, including design, planning, permitting, and analysis. You will assist project managers and collaborate with team members across different disciplines to solve technical problems. A core part of the role involves using software like AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, or GIS to produce and quality check project deliverables. You will also learn federal, state, and local regulations relevant to our projects.
What you'll need#
Candidates must be in the process of earning a Bachelors or Masters degree from an ABET-accredited program. We accept students majoring in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, as well as Engineering Technology.
