About the role#
We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Intern to join our team for the summer of 2027. You will work alongside our Continuous Improvement Manager and various team members to support operational excellence. This is a full-time, paid internship designed for students serious about a career in manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with employees across departments to identify improvement opportunities and solve problems.
- Maintain food safety practices during all activities.
- Attend and participate in daily tier meetings.
- Support and lead continuous improvement projects, including data collection, process improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Participate in training sessions and cross-functional projects.
- Lead and complete a meaningful improvement project that addresses a specific business need.
- Present your project results, recommendations, and measurable outcomes to business leaders at the end of the summer.
What you'll need#
- You are at least a Junior in college pursuing a degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
- You can commit to a 10-12 week internship during the summer of 2027.
- You have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- You work well in a team atmosphere and are a supportive coworker.
