About the role#
Knife River Corporation is hiring a full-time Intern to work on-site in Idaho Falls. This is a paid position that requires a self-starter who wants to learn and grow in the construction industry. You will be expected to perform manual labor as part of your daily duties.
What you'll do#
- Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with tracking quantities and daily cost tracking.
- Support the development of submittals and RFIs.
- Help with layout and surveying tasks.
- Prepare daily reports and manage quality control documentation.
- Support the site safety plan.
- Perform manual labor as required on project sites.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year degree program, preferably in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, Word, and Project.
- A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company policy.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of the organization.
- Willingness to undergo a post-offer pre-employment drug test and random testing during your employment.
