About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Riverside, Missouri. It is an on-site, rolling term position within the motor vehicle manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
You will work with the Supply Chain Manager to analyze Buyer/Planner transactional activity and find ways to improve processes. Your work includes creating reporting tools and charts to track demand and inventory control performance. You will also examine materials storage areas in the warehouse and on the production floor to reduce IWD and resolve back flushing issues.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or higher in a Business, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering program.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize tasks, handle large assignments, and work independently.
