About the role#
As a Hardware Architect Intern for Summer 2027, you will work with our engineering team to support the development of rail signaling systems. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Melbourne, Florida. You will gain exposure to the product development lifecycle while working alongside professionals across multiple engineering disciplines.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design, analysis, and development of engineering components and systems.
- Support simulation, modeling, and prototyping efforts.
- Participate in the testing and validation of engineering solutions, including data collection and analysis.
- Contribute to technical documentation such as requirements, design specifications, and test reports.
- Support compliance testing and verification activities to meet project standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- An interest in product development lifecycle activities.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- An understanding of engineering documentation standards.
