About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to the development of freight rail braking systems. You will work both independently and within project teams, receiving regular feedback throughout the summer. The program concludes with a final presentation to company leadership.
What you'll do#
- Perform testing on complex integrated and networked systems.
- Configure test setups and control stands.
- Write test cases based on functional requirements.
- Use automated testing to collect data for development teams.
- Write test reports.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Minimum standing of entering your Junior year.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Basic software engineering skills.
- Hands-on experience and familiarity with data acquisition.

- Location: Irving, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027 (Mid-May to Mid-August).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Paid internship.
