    About the role#

    Our Vancouver office is seeking undergraduate students for a 4-month co-op position starting in January 2027. You will join our Private Client Services Tax practice, which assists individuals, estates, and trusts with Canadian and U.S. cross-border tax compliance and planning.

    What you'll do#

    • Participate in complex Canadian and U.S. cross-border tax work, including analysis and assessment.
    • Prepare individual, gift, estate, and trust tax returns for a variety of clients.
    • Research and analyze Canadian and U.S. tax issues.
    • Manage client files to ensure the accurate and timely completion of returns.
    • Work with the tax engagement team to support client planning and compliance needs.

    What you'll need#

    • Working towards or completed an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Tax, Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
    • Proven track record of managing competing priorities and deadlines.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
    • Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel.
    • Consistent attention to detail when handling a high volume of files.
    • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools or analytics platforms is an asset.

    • Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
    • Term: Winter 2027 (4 months).
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $49,000 to $60,000 base salary range, with potential eligibility for bonus awards.
