About the role#
Our Vancouver office is seeking undergraduate students for a 4-month co-op position starting in January 2027. You will join our Private Client Services Tax practice, which assists individuals, estates, and trusts with Canadian and U.S. cross-border tax compliance and planning.
What you'll do#
- Participate in complex Canadian and U.S. cross-border tax work, including analysis and assessment.
- Prepare individual, gift, estate, and trust tax returns for a variety of clients.
- Research and analyze Canadian and U.S. tax issues.
- Manage client files to ensure the accurate and timely completion of returns.
- Work with the tax engagement team to support client planning and compliance needs.
What you'll need#
- Working towards or completed an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Tax, Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel.
- Consistent attention to detail when handling a high volume of files.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools or analytics platforms is an asset.

- Term: Winter 2027 (4 months).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $49,000 to $60,000 base salary range, with potential eligibility for bonus awards.
