About the role#
This is a 12-week internship program running from January 11 to April 23, 2027. You will work under the guidance of project managers and construction managers to support capital projects. The role involves hands-on learning, exposure to senior leadership, and professional development in a retail construction environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers with essential job functions, including pre-remodel checklists and drawing reviews.
- Help execute the contractor bid process.
- Support the preparation, ordering, and delivery tracking of equipment based on construction schedules.
- Manage store fixture installations and assist with project closeout tasks like punch lists and final invoicing.
- Inspect capital projects to ensure compliance with specifications and quality control standards.
- Coordinate plan reviews with technician staff and evaluate proposed change orders.
- Complete a cumulative project summarizing your internship accomplishments to present to the executive team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or Construction Management degree program at an accredited university.
- A preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Prior experience in a construction environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently or in groups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze information and apply it to business needs.
- High motivation and a desire to take initiative.

- This is a paid, full-time internship position. Applicants must have existing work authorization in the United States as sponsorship is not provided.
