About the role#
This is a 12-week internship program running from January 11 to April 23, 2027. You will work under the guidance of project managers and construction managers to support capital projects. This role involves hands-on training and requires you to model core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers with essential job functions, such as completing pre-remodel checklists and fixture drawings.
- Help execute the contractor bid process.
- Participate in weekly tasks and project meetings.
- Prepare and execute equipment orders.
- Track equipment orders and schedule deliveries to align with construction timelines.
- Manage store fixture installations and assist with project closeout tasks like punch lists and final invoicing.
- Inspect projects to ensure compliance with specifications and quality control.
- Review architecture, refrigeration, and electrical or mechanical plans.
- Complete a cumulative project to present to the management team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering, or Architecture degree program.
- A preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Prior experience in a construction environment.
- Ability to work both independently and within a group.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High motivation and a desire to take initiative.
- Ability to analyze information and apply it to business needs.

- This is a paid, full-time internship.
