About the role#
Kwest Group is looking for a Project Management Intern to join our civil construction team. This internship offers hands-on experience in estimating and project management support. You will work alongside our senior project managers on multiple projects. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Assist with quantity take-offs and project setups for proposals.
- Support the project management team with clerical tasks and vendor solicitation.
- Contact suppliers and subcontractors to request quotes and manage project schedules.
- Assist in pricing bid documents.
- Request timely reports from project foremen, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Travel to project sites as needed.
- Represent Kwest Group professionally and maintain positive working relationships.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree program.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid math and analytical skills.
- Ability to organize tasks, multi-task, and work without direct supervision.
- Strong teamwork and client-facing skills.
- Ability to pass 30-hour OSHA testing and First Aid/CPR requirements before starting.
- Ability to meet physical demands as verified by a pre-employment physical examination.

- This role involves working in active construction environments with exposure to various weather conditions and requires the use of employer-provided personal protective equipment.
