About the role#
Landmark Properties is hiring Construction Interns for the Summer 2027 term. This paid internship provides hands-on experience in project planning, management, and closeout. You will work directly with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure construction projects meet quality standards, budget targets, and schedules.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project planning, buyout, and management tasks.
- Monitor contractor compliance with safety and quality programs.
- Control budget expenditures and coordinate project billings.
- Manage RFI logs, change request logs, and submittal data.
- Process shop drawings and coordinate deliveries or inspections.
- Complete daily logs, status reports, and weekly meeting minutes.
- Document site progress through photos and reports.
- Resolve punch-list issues and obtain the Certificate of Substantial Completion.
- Maintain closeout logs and assemble final record documents.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to system improvements.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or Building Science.
- Completion of at least one year of applicable coursework.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
- A collaborative attitude with interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Critical thinking abilities and the initiative to work as a self-starter.

- Term: June 1, 2027, through August 6, 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Locations: Tampa, FL; Auburn, AL; or Oxford, MS.
