About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Manufacturing Engineering Internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in Frederick, Maryland, to gain hands-on experience with engineering staff, methods, and practices within the defense and space manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers with various assignments and carry out basic work instructions.
- Conduct limited scope testing and design analysis under direct supervision.
- Gather and assemble data for engineering projects.
- Help with research in specific fields.
- Provide support on design details.
- Complete assigned tasks on time.
- Support and communicate the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
What you'll need#
- You are a current engineering student with some progress toward your degree.
- You hold a high school diploma or GED.
- You possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to build a professional network.
- You are diligent, hardworking, and quick to learn.
