About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship during the summer of 2027. You will work on-site in Dallas, Texas, as part of the Electro-Optical & Infrared Systems team. This position follows a 9/80 work schedule over a 12-14 week period.
What you'll do#
- Conduct limited scope testing and design analysis under the supervision of experienced engineers.
- Gather and assemble technical data.
- Assist engineers with design details.
- Complete assigned tasks on schedule.
- Perform various tasks to learn about engineering methods, programs, and practices.
- Support and reinforce the mission and values of the organization.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as an engineering student in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- An active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
