About the role#
The Technical Sales Internship Program connects your academic background with hands-on experience in an industrial sales environment. You will work directly with Technical Sales Representatives to support the sales cycle, manage customer relationships, and execute key projects assigned by Regional Sales Managers. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role scheduled for the summer of 2027. Participants will also attend an Immersion Day at our headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio, with travel expenses covered.
What you'll do#
- Visit end users and distributors to identify and address key sales issues.
- Participate in hands-on welding demonstrations.
- Promote products at distributor open houses.
- Update customers on new product offerings.
- Assist Technical Sales Representatives with training end users.
- Drive two to three key sales projects throughout the summer.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in a STEM or Business field, such as Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum overall GPA of 2.8.
- Sophomore status or higher.
- Ability to work in the U.S. on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship.
- Genuine interest in sales, technical field service, and customer support.
- Ability to travel for training and field visits.

This is an on-site internship. Positions are available in the following locations: Houston, TX; Baton Rouge, LA; Richmond, VA; San Antonio, TX; Los Angeles, CA; Vancouver, WA; Boston, MA; Cleveland, OH; Chicago, IL; and Kansas City, MO.
