About the role#
As a Community Management Co-op Student with the Loblaw Agency Enterprise Social team, you will help shape how our brands connect with people. You will work alongside our team to build brand love and engagement across our social channels. This is a hands-on opportunity to help our brands become active, human, and culturally relevant participants in social media.
What you'll do#
- Support day-to-day community management across our portfolio of brands.
- Proactively engage with consumers, creators, and brands through outbound management.
- Identify opportunities for brands to participate in trends and cultural moments.
- Find and surface high-quality user-generated content for amplification.
- Build relationships with communities through timely and brand-right engagement.
- Monitor comments and audience reactions to identify recurring themes and potential risks.
- Support social listening and translate conversations into actionable insights.
- Track activity and performance metrics, including sentiment and engagement.
- Participate in team Learning Loops to share insights and experiment with new ideas.
- Partner with Social Strategy, Content, Creative, and Analytics teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program in Marketing, Communications, Media, Advertising, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
- A genuine interest in internet culture and how brands show up in social communities.
- Understanding of platform nuances on channels like TikTok and Instagram.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt your voice to different audiences.
- Natural curiosity and attention to online conversations.
- Strong judgment regarding when and how a brand should join a conversation.
- Ability to interpret basic social metrics.
- Highly organized approach to balancing multiple priorities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.

- Location: 500 Lake Shore Blvd W, Toronto, ON.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 6, 2027 to April 16, 2027).
- Modality: Hybrid (up to 1 day remote per week, 4 days in office).
- Employment Type: Full-time, paid.
