About the role#
We are looking for a part-time student to join our team at the local Your Independent Grocer franchise in Espanola. This is a unionized position that offers the opportunity to gain retail experience while working in a supportive environment. We welcome students from various academic backgrounds, including Business Administration, Marketing, and Communications.
What you'll do#
- Help customers find what they need while shopping.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and tidy.
- Set up and maintain effective product displays.
- Take part in store promotions and community events.
- Work with your teammates to provide good service.
What you'll need#
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You are enthusiastic and reliable.
- You have a commitment to sustainability and social impact.
- Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
- You must pass a criminal background check.

- This is an on-site, part-time role.
- The starting pay range is $16.60 to $19.45 per hour.
