    About the role#

    This is a part-time internship for an Operations and Maintenance Technician. You will work on-site in Sunnyvale, California, supporting the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation and controls (I&C) systems. This role is focused on semiconductor and advanced manufacturing facilities.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the daily operation and monitoring of electrical and I&C systems.
    • Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and I&C equipment.
    • Participate in facility rounds and record electrical and control system parameters.
    • Perform electrical testing, including voltage checks, continuity testing, and insulation resistance testing.
    • Monitor alarms and review system trends for PLC, SCADA, and BMS control systems.

    What you'll need#

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical discipline is preferred.
    • A solid understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls.
    • The ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and equipment manuals.
    • A commitment to following safety procedures, including LOTO and electrical safe work practices.

    • Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $20 to $30 per hour.
    • Term: Rolling.
