About the role#
The IT Intern works under the guidance of an IT Director to perform tasks related to their specific course of study and training. You will assist the IT team in day-to-day operations while gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Provide telephone support to end users through the help desk.
- Load, configure, test, and maintain workstation hardware and software.
- Assist with the maintenance and configuration of network hardware and software.
- Develop reports, queries, interfaces, and applications.
- Enter and validate data for Health Information Management.
- Address assigned tickets and document all work in the Track-IT system.
What you'll need#
- At least two years of study in a computer-related field or completion of an equivalent IT certification program.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to sit for long periods while working at a computer.
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
- Willingness to work beyond normal hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
