About the role#
This position is for Respiratory Therapy students who are preparing to enter the field. You will work alongside experienced staff to care for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. This is a trainee role for candidates who are near graduation and board certification. Upon receiving your degree, certification, and licensure, you will transfer into a full Respiratory Therapist position.
What you'll do#
- Assist Respiratory Therapists with the delivery and assessment of patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions.
- Help evaluate respiratory care policies and procedures based on current research and patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about specific illnesses.
- Provide information regarding community support groups and available resources.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current Respiratory Therapist student.
- You should be scheduled to graduate next spring.
- You must be close to completing your board certification and licensure.

- This role is located in Augusta, Maine.
- This is an on-site, full-time position.
- The base pay is $24.30 per hour.
