About the role#
This internship offers a chance to gain hands-on experience in reinsurance operations. You will work on business analytics, reporting, and process improvement while collaborating with professionals in a supportive environment. What you'll do#
- Investigate, analyze, and process policy exceptions within the reinsurance administration system.
- Support data cleanup initiatives and small to medium-sized projects.
- Develop and automate management reports using SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, and Python.
- Coordinate evidence and documentation to support internal audits.
- Identify and resolve unusual business trends or escalate issues as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Business, or Data Analytics.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Technical experience with SQL, Python, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Familiarity with AI-based tools.
- A basic understanding of insurance and reinsurance principles.
