About the role#
The Advanced Packaging team supports customers with package designs that meet specific electrical requirements. We work on high-speed signaling and complex power delivery networks for multi-chip configurations. This role involves advancing expertise in 3D packaging, co-packaged optics, and substrate materials while collaborating with hardware and IP teams to solve design challenges.
What you'll do#
- Perform signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), and electromagnetic (EM) simulations.
- Evaluate package and PCB designs to ensure they meet electrical performance requirements.
- Analyze power distribution networks (PDNs) and high-speed channels to resolve delivery issues.
- Develop scripts and automation tools using Python or MATLAB to improve analysis workflows.
- Collaborate with package design, layout, hardware, and IP teams to optimize performance.
- Document results and present technical findings to engineering teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Expected graduation date between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, circuit extractions, and simulation techniques.
- Experience with electrical simulation tools for signal integrity, power integrity, or electromagnetic analysis.
- Ability to organize technical information and analyze data effectively.
