About the role#
As a Design/DSP/Verification Intern, you will join the Data Communication Architecture & System Team. This group builds technology for high speed data communication PHY product lines. You will work on Ethernet systems over copper cabling, optical, and SerDes. You will receive mentorship to help you learn and contribute to the team effectively.
What you'll do#
- Build simulation models and run performance simulations.
- Analyze lab and simulation data to optimize designs, ranging from block level components to system reviews.
- Collaborate with peers to evaluate ideas through system modeling and data collection.
- Contribute directly to the DSP Architecture team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a PhD or MS program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
- Strong knowledge of DSP, communication theory, and system design.
- Experience with system modeling.
- Ability to communicate, present, and document your work clearly.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position located in Santa Clara, California.
- The internship is full-time and follows a rolling schedule.
- Compensation is provided for this role.
