About the role#
As an Analog Engineer Intern, you will join the Central Engineering group at Marvell. This team serves as the hub that provides IP for various business units, including automotive, storage, security, and networking. You will work within a small analog team, balancing the opportunity to learn new engineering aspects with the freedom to focus on the details of your specialization.
What you'll do#
- Take ownership of a block for delivery into one of our DSP transceivers.
- Understand product requirements and how your specific block integrates into the larger system.
- Evaluate tradeoffs between different circuit topologies.
- Perform schematic capture and layout using the Cadence Virtuoso environment.
- Run schematic-level and post-layout simulations to quantify and optimize performance.
- Document your designs and participate in design reviews with the team.
- Design, simulate, and support analog IP verification.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a PhD or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of circuit design.
- Experience with detailed transistor-level design.
- Understanding of device physics.
- Knowledge of feedback and loop stability analysis.
- Strong skills in communication, presentation, and documentation.
