About the role#
As a Design/DSP/Verification Intern, you will join the Data Communication Architecture & System Team. This group develops technology for high-speed data communication PHY product lines, including Ethernet systems, optical, and SerDes. You will work alongside mentors to gain hands-on experience in signal processing and system architecture.
What you'll do#
- Contribute directly to the DSP Architecture team.
- Build simulation models and run performance simulations.
- Analyze lab and simulation data to optimize designs, ranging from block-level components to system-level reviews.
- Collaborate with peers to evaluate concepts through system modeling and data validation.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a PhD or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Fundamental knowledge of DSP, communication theory, and system design.
- Experience with system modeling.
- Strong skills in communication, presentation, and documentation.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Santa Clara, California.
- The role is on-site and full-time.
- Compensation is $28 to $56 per hour, with additional compensation potentially available for PhD candidates.
- This is a paid internship.
