About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based at our Minneapolis plant. You will work on-site for a 10-week program during the summer of 2027. You will gain hands-on experience with resin-based materials and extrusion line operations while working alongside our engineering and production teams.
What you'll do#
- Design and run controlled experiments on extrusion lines to test process variables.
- Collect and analyze manufacturing data to find ways to improve our processes.
- Work with Process Technicians and Engineers to document your findings and suggest changes to operating conditions.
- Present your project results and recommendations to the department at the end of your internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
- Completion of at least one full year of coursework, though two years is preferred.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel.
- High initiative and a drive to learn about our business.
- Ability to analyze data, communicate clearly, and work well in a team.
