About the role#
Mauldin & Jenkins is seeking an HR Intern to join our team in Atlanta. This part-time position requires a minimum of 20 hours per week and offers the chance to gain experience within a regional accounting firm. You will work on a variety of projects across learning and development, culture, talent management, and corporate events.
What you'll do#
- Assist with campus recruiting initiatives and events.
- Support employee relations programs, including DEI, the Women’s Alliance, wellness initiatives, and community service.
- Coordinate and schedule training sessions, including CPE and HR training.
- Communicate learning and development updates to associates.
- Manage inventory and ordering for recruiting and HR giveaways.
- Collaborate with the HR team to create and post social media campaigns.
- Prepare company announcements and correspondence.
- Act as an ambassador for the firm by sharing information and gathering associate feedback.
- Maintain high standards for the accuracy and quality of your work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, specifically in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with design tools like Canva, Visme, and SimpleBooklet.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks while working independently or in a team.
- Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to lift 25lb.
- Solid time management and organizational skills.

- This role is based on-site in Atlanta, Georgia.
- This is a paid, part-time internship.
