About the role#
This internship provides graduate students with field experience within the Mutter Lab. You will work under the guidance of assigned mentors who provide instruction and assess your performance throughout the term. The program focuses on observing clinical or research functions and completing specific projects that benefit the work unit.
What you'll do#
- Observe the daily functions and processes of your assigned work unit.
- Receive instruction and guidance from experienced mentors.
- Complete assigned projects and reports for both Mayo Clinic and your educational institution.
- Take responsibility for specific work tasks to reinforce your learning.
- Participate in performance assessments to track your progress.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a master’s or graduate degree program.
- Active registration for coursework in the current or upcoming academic term.
- Proof of enrollment that can be verified before the start date.
- A degree program that requires an internship for graduation or offers it as a credit option.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
- Relevant academic background in Biology, Psychology, Health Administration, Public Health, Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or Communications.
