About the role#
This is an 11-week paid internship program based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. You will work on real projects that impact the business while gaining professional development through training, networking events, and interaction with senior leaders. The program concludes with a final presentation to executive leadership.
What you'll do#
- Take responsibility for sourcing a specific category of spend, such as snow removal, facility cleaning services, or software contract negotiations.
- Build, test, and launch AI agents designed to improve the efficiency of business customer purchases through established buying channels.
- Collaborate with business partners to identify needs, evaluate suppliers, and manage relationships.
- Support the broader procurement team in identifying opportunities to reduce costs and manage risk.
What you'll need#
- Current progress toward a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and a natural sense of curiosity.
- A proactive mindset that drives results and handles ambiguity well.
