About the role#
This is a full-time procurement internship for Summer 2027 based at our corporate office in West Des Moines. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The role is part of our broader Supply Chain Internship program, which includes facility tours and networking events.
What you'll do#
- Research vendor and buying efficiencies.
- Provide the purchasing group with timely analytics and evaluations to support decision-making.
- Perform cost and performance analysis for purchasing operations.
- Work with supply chain functions, including demand planning and transportation, to optimize inventory levels and minimize out of stocks.
- Maintain a reliable work schedule.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or a recent degree from a program such as Supply Chain Management, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or Business Administration.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to gather data, analyze findings, and report results.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to learn internal software applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
