    About the role#

    The Solutions Center is a 24/7 crisis facility serving individuals referred by emergency rooms, first responders, and outpatient treatment teams. As a Clinical Crisis Intern, you will work within a clinical team to provide direct mental health assessments and treatment. This role focuses on helping individuals achieve recovery and stabilization within the crisis clinic.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide diagnostic mental health assessments and psychotherapy for individuals, couples, or groups.
    • Develop treatment plans and monitor progress.
    • Facilitate individual growth with an emphasis on strengths, culture, and resilience.
    • Coordinate services for individuals with supplemental needs in psychiatric, case management, and medical domains.
    • Collaborate with internal and external partners to support client development.
    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
    • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervisory sessions.
    • Maintain a trauma-informed environment.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in the second year of an MSW program.
    • Completion of a first internship and a diagnosis course.
    • Professional experience in the mental health field.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Denver, Colorado.
    • Commitment: 16 to 20 hours per week.
    • Term: Rolling.
    • Compensation: This is an unpaid internship.
