About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship at Metromont. You will work on-site in San Marcos, Texas. The role focuses on learning manufacturing processes and gaining hands-on experience across multiple departments.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to plant operations, including steel fabrication, material handling, and quality control.
- Spend time in the carpentry shop and finishing departments to understand how precast concrete is made.
- Follow all company and OSHA safety rules and regulations at all times.
- Perform physical tasks, which include standing for long periods, lifting up to 75 pounds, and climbing stairs.
