    About the role#

    This co-op position offers an opportunity to work on site in the Greenville, South Carolina area during the Winter 2027 term. You will contribute to process quality initiatives within an industrial plant environment, working a full-time, Monday through Friday day shift schedule.

    What you'll do#

    • Implement an automated product width measurement system on the extruder.
    • Install technology to monitor product dimensions continuously and provide immediate feedback to operators.
    • Improve quality assurance processes and enable faster responses to process variation.
    • Reduce scrap and rework while supporting data-driven decision-making for product release.
    • Strengthen customer quality performance and ensure dimensional compliance.

    What you'll need#

    • Current full-time enrollment at an accredited four-year college or university.
    • A major in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Material Science.
    • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to work in an industrial plant environment.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
    • Status as a US citizen, permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work for Michelin on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
