    About the role#

    As a Silicon Engineering Intern, you will design, develop, modify, and evaluate electronic parts, components, and integrated circuitry for digital systems. You will define design architecture, select components based on reliability, and analyze performance requirements. You will work on real-world projects in collaboration with global teams.

    What you'll do#

    • Contribute to and improve hardware solutions.
    • Use performance instrumentation and present results to architects and team members.
    • Create ways to communicate and visualize user experiences.
    • Recommend technical solutions to design and quality challenges.
    • Write design verification test cases, test benches, or automation.
    • Assist in writing tests for formal pre-silicon verification of subsystems.
    • Use simulation and emulation tools to test signal integrity and prevent production bugs.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
    • At least one additional quarter or semester of school remaining after the internship.
    • Experience or coursework in digital logic design, simulation, object-oriented programming, data structures, embedded systems, and firmware.
    • Knowledge of verification principles, testbenches, UVM, C/C++, and scripting languages.
    • Experience with digital timing analysis, synthesis, place-n-route, and circuit design including VLSI and solid-state devices.

    • Locations: Santa Clara, CA; Mountain View, CA; Raleigh, NC.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • This is a paid, full-time internship.
