About the role#
This summer internship provides undergraduate students with exposure to the Legal and Federal Affairs team. You will support the organization through research, drafting, and reviewing materials while learning the fundamentals of utility regulatory and corporate law. This role is based in our Little Rock office and requires a full-time commitment.
What you'll do#
- Take on high-impact legal projects and work closely with attorneys and team members.
- Conduct policy research, review basic contract language, and support organizational governance.
- Consider stakeholder perspectives as they relate to legal and business objectives.
- Attend community service events, intern socials, and professional development sessions.
- Deliver a final presentation that summarizes your project work, recommendations, and impact.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Law, Political Science, Environmental or Energy Policy, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Teams, and Copilot.
- Strong analytical thinking, organization, and attention to detail.
- Clear, professional communication skills.
- Comfort with conducting research, reviewing legal language, and supporting legal processes.
- A commitment to accountability, collaboration, and a mission-driven focus.

- Term: Summer 2027 (June 2, 2027, to August 13, 2027).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
