About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience within the Process Improvement department. You will contribute to business priorities and develop professional skills through meaningful projects. This is a full-time, paid position lasting 11 to 12 weeks during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support daily activities and key projects in Process Improvement.
- Manage a manufacturing project to achieve specific results.
- Use continuous improvement techniques to find solutions.
- Identify unique approaches to problem solving through creative thinking.
- Collaborate with a diverse group of people to implement project improvements.
- Communicate project progress in one-to-one and group settings.
What you'll need#
- Working toward a BS degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, specifically with advanced Excel skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset with organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to attend the Intern Leadership Forum and the final presentation review in Spartanburg, SC.
