About the role#
We are looking for a co-op student to support construction projects by collecting and organizing field data. You will help us compare traditional and modular building methods to improve our technology and operating models. This role involves regular time on active construction sites and collaboration with project management, trade partners, and field personnel.
What you'll do#
- Visit construction sites to observe and document project progress.
- Capture field information using photos, videos, notes, and productivity records.
- Measure labor, crew size, production quantities, installation durations, material waste, and delays.
- Attend planning, coordination, and progress meetings.
- Track trade activities, construction phases, and project roadblocks.
- Speak with field personnel to understand work methods and production challenges.
- Prepare reports, visual documentation, and database updates.
- Maintain data collection tools like cameras and recording equipment.
What you'll need#
- At least one year of study in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Building Science, or a related field.
- Ability to work safely in an active construction environment.
- Basic proficiency with photography, video equipment, computers, file management, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- OSHA 10 certification or the ability to obtain it within two weeks of hire.
- Confidence interacting with workers, supervisors, and project managers.

- Locations: Westampton, New Jersey; New York, New York; Edenton, North Carolina.
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position.
- The term is rolling.
