About the role#
MNP is hiring a Co-op student for the Assurance and Accounting team in Kelowna. This is a full-time, paid position running from January 2028 to August 2028. You will work on-site to provide financial information and support to clients.
What you'll do#
- Build technical skills in audits, reviews, compilations, tax, and bookkeeping.
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Perform walk-throughs with clients for payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and capital asset transactions.
- Establish charts of accounts and prepare entries for posting.
- Investigate, review, and correct irregularities or discrepancies in financial documents and reports.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program in business administration or commerce, with a preference for accounting or finance majors.
- Progress toward meeting prerequisites for the CPA Professional Education Program.
- Previous office experience in accounting is an asset.
- Experience with client or customer service is an asset.
- Familiarity with tax and accounting software is an asset.

- Compensation: $42,000 to $46,000 annually.
