About the role#
As an MBA Summer Associate within the Capital & Ventures team, you will work directly with senior leadership to evaluate investment opportunities and support strategic transactions. This is a full-time, on-site internship for the summer of 2027. You will contribute to market analyses, assess potential acquisitions, and help develop investment recommendations that influence how Momentum grows. This role involves meaningful ownership and exposure to executive decision-making.
What you'll do#
- Conduct industry, market, and competitive research to identify new investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain deal pipeline trackers and market intelligence tools.
- Analyze financial and operational data to spot growth opportunities and potential risks.
- Support due diligence processes by coordinating research and organizing documentation.
- Create business cases, investment memoranda, and executive presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Finance, Strategy, and Operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time MBA program with a graduation date between Winter 2027 and Spring 2028.
- A GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Approximately 2-4 years of work experience in fields such as management consulting or corporate development.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, executive-ready recommendations.
- Interest in evaluating businesses and markets using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, business case development, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- This position is based in Dallas, Texas.
- The role is full-time and requires five days per week on-site.
- This is a paid internship for Summer 2027.
