About the role#
The IS Epic Services Intern supports strategic initiatives by assisting with program development and project implementation. This is a paid, full-time position that operates primarily on a remote basis, though you will attend occasional onsite meetings or events in Columbus, Ohio. You should be comfortable working in a team environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
What you'll do#
- Gather and analyze data to support department goals.
- Run pre-defined queries and format reports.
- Create presentation materials to showcase project findings and new initiatives.
- Collaborate with your manager to provide recommendations for business unit improvements.
- Attend weekly group development sessions and participate in intern events.
- Perform administrative tasks and office coordination as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in high school or an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate program is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to apply logical, critical thought processes to solve problems.
- Capability to work well within teams while maintaining professional composure.
- Previous experience in the medical field is a plus.
