About the role#
Navitas Systems is hiring a Power BI & Analytics Intern for our Business Intelligence & Systems team. You will work on building and maintaining dashboards that provide insights to departments including manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and operations. This role focuses on data visualization, business analysis, and solving real-world data problems. You will work on-site in Ann Arbor during the Summer 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Clean, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Collaborate with IT and business units to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Build data models using star schema and create DAX measures for business metrics.
- Document datasets, business logic, transformations, and internal processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Service, including data modeling and basic DAX.
- Ability to write SQL queries, including joins, aggregations, and filters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically pivot tables, formulas, and Power Query.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint for collaboration.
