About the role#
The Mortgage Member Services team manages front-end and back-end operations for real estate lending. This includes processing payoff quotes, loan modifications, and rate reductions. As a Summer Associate, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting these operations and identifying ways to improve current processes. This 12-week internship runs from May 2027 through August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate business processes to find opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- Collect, organize, and prepare data for reporting and analysis.
- Develop recommendations to streamline workflows and improve performance.
- Prepare and present research-based proposals to management.
- Collaborate with team members to complete assignments.
- Provide operational support to ensure daily functions run smoothly.
- Maintain professionalism and prioritize member service in all interactions.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Operations Management from an accredited college or university.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with flexibility.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Commitment to self-development and attention to detail.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
- Available locations: Vienna, VA; Pensacola, FL; and Winchester, VA.
- Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CT.
