About the role#
This 12-week internship runs from May 2027 through August 2027. You will join the Zero Trust team to help advance the organization's security strategy and maturity. This role involves partnering across the enterprise to assess capabilities, align security initiatives, and execute the Zero Trust roadmap. You will contribute to meaningful projects that strengthen security operations and gain exposure to enterprise cybersecurity strategy.
What you'll do#
- Identify, document, and organize Zero Trust capabilities, requirements, and supporting artifacts.
- Support the automation of compliance processes using Microsoft Copilot AI agents, Tines, and other tools.
- Assist in aligning AI and machine learning standards, controls, and use cases to the enterprise Zero Trust framework.
- Conduct research and analysis to support roadmap activities, maturity assessments, and compliance objectives.
- Prepare updates, insights, and recommendations for stakeholder discussions and leadership briefings.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Interest in artificial intelligence, automation, scripting, or workflow orchestration tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines, adapt to new technologies, and work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience with Power BI or data visualization tools is preferred.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
- Locations: Vienna, Virginia or Pensacola, Florida.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
