About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support the Gas Power Controls business. You will engage in technical assignments focused on systems, analysis, design, quality, reliability, digital integration, and testing. The role includes mentorship from experienced technical managers and technologists to help you grow your expertise in the power generation industry.
What you'll do#
- Perform design and analysis of product lines including steam turbines, gas turbines, gas engines, and generators.
- Develop and implement new design concepts and improvements.
- Collaborate with the drafting team to create or update technical drawings.
- Partner with the manufacturing team to solve problems related to complex production processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Ability to work in the United States for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship.
- High level of self-motivation and an analytical approach to problem solving.
- Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience as a team player and leader.
