    About the role#

    We are looking for a Quality Engineer intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Mandan, North Dakota. You will work on real projects that support our software solutions for energy cooperatives and communication organizations.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform basic testing tasks to verify that software changes meet design specifications.
    • Ensure software functions within total quality management standards.
    • Research, test, and report results for various testing scenarios.
    • Write release notes and documentation for new system enhancements.
    • Participate in design team meetings to understand product updates.
    • Test system documentation and suggest edits or improvements.
    • Handle other duties as assigned.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
    • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
    • High attention to detail.
    • A self-driven approach and a desire to grow your knowledge base.
    • Ability to adapt to change and a drive to move forward in technology.
    • Excellent communication skills for telephone and email interactions.
    • Ability to work effectively with members and customers.
