About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will join the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD) at Northrop Grumman. This role focuses on mission critical solutions in software development, IT modernization, and system sustainment.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to software development projects.
- Support IT modernization and sustainment efforts.
- Collaborate with teams on mission critical technical solutions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited university.
- Intent to remain enrolled full-time for the Fall 2027 semester.
- A major in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or Information Systems.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during the summer of 2027.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher is preferred.
- An active Secret Security Clearance or higher is preferred.
