About the role#
The Coordinator of New Student and Community Relations supports recruitment and outreach efforts at NorthWest Arkansas Community College. You will engage with prospective students, families, high schools, and community partners through both on-campus and off-campus activities. This position works under the direction of the Director of New Student Relations to execute recruitment initiatives and provide frontline support for enrollment goals.
What you'll do#
- Plan, coordinate, and execute recruitment events based on college strategies and timelines.
- Build and maintain relationships with assigned high schools and community partners.
- Represent the college at high school visits, college fairs, and job expos.
- Guide prospective students through the admissions and enrollment process.
- Organize and lead campus tours and visits.
- Use social media, email, and text messaging to communicate with prospective students.
- Assist with the hiring, training, and supervision of Student Ambassadors.
- Enter student interactions and event outcomes into the college CRM and Student Information System.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree.
- Two years of experience in student services, program administration, or a related field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience planning and executing events.
- Ability to engage with diverse groups and build professional relationships.
- Comfort using technology and social media for outreach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Location: Arkansas (Benton County Campus).
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $19.76 per hour (higher compensation may be considered based on qualifications).
- Travel: Local travel using a personal vehicle is required, with mileage reimbursement provided.
